Board considers funding for spay, neuter services

The Macomb County Board of Commissioners will meet at 7 tonight to discuss awarding bids totaling $105,900 to All About Animals Rescue in Warren to offer spay and neuter services for the Macomb County Animal Shelter in Clinton Township.

The goal is to increase the number of spayed or neutered animals adopted out by the county and decrease admissions to the animal shelter, Commissioner Carey Torrice said. The board meets on the ninth floor of the County Administration Building, 1 S. Main, Mount Clemens.
