Meet Me on the Trail event a success.

Although the sky was cloudy and rain was sprinkling May 22, a crowd came out to the “Meet Me on the Trail” event in the parking lot of the Rainbow Plaza, located at the corner of 25 Mile and Shelby roads in Shelby Township. The event celebrated Macomb County’s trail system and recreational activities. Members of the Macomb County Planning and Economic Development Department, Macomb County Sheriff Office Reserves, Shelby Township Fire and Police departments, local businesses, Macomb County commissioners and others welcomed participants.

Members of the Macomb County Explorers handed out official “Meet Me at the Trail” shirts at the event. Macomb County Commissioner Carey Torrice of Clinton Township put one on before her walk.
