2006 Voter Guide

Fraser-Clinton Township Chronicle (MI) 2006 Voter Guide Residents will have many choices to make Nov. 7. The election in Clinton Township and Fraser will see three people running for one state representative seat in District 31. Throughout the Chronicle’s coverage area, voters will be choosing county commissioners in five different districts.

Voters will also decide on five ballot proposals and chose a new 16th Circuit Judge. Candidates were asked, in 150 words or less, to state the top items they would wish to accomplish if elected and how they would go about accomplishing them. If a candidate went over their word limit, ( ¦ ) replaced the rest of their answer.

Top goals: The top three things I wish to accomplish are Water quality, economic development and a 4 year college.


As County Commissioner I can help clean up the Clinton River to make Lake St. Clair cleaner. If we encourage businesses to come to Clinton Twp. By making it a destination, the economic development will rise, increasing jobs. A four year college will educate our residents and help them save on gas. The children are our future.

By promoting Macomb County as a destination we can attract business. Creating a new image will draw businesses and therefore create more jobs. My Father was a chapter 154 Vietnam Veterans member. He was buried last November with honor at Arlington National Cemetery. My main platform is based upon veteran’s affairs. My Father taught me well, protect those who protect us.
