Depending on where you are, various Lowe’s and Home Depot stores will give active and retired military with ID cards the 10% discount (others won’t – just have to ask and see who will/won’t) Veteran’s Day is soon approaching and there are several companies who want to thank our veterans by providing them with discounts or a free meal. To those companies offering veterans a free meal or discount, we give a collective thanks. To all who served “ a simple thank you is never enough. But I’ll say it anyway. Thanks for your service.

Disney’s Armed Forces Salute “ free Disney admission

Disney recently announced a new program honoring the US military- “Disney’s Armed Forces Salute.” This program offers active duty military members, retirees, active US Coast Guard, and activated National Guard and Reserves members are eligible to receive a complimentary 3 day admission ticket to any Disney theme park located in the US. Disney is also offering special rates on their Disneyland and Disney World Resort hotels. Bring your friends! Eligible members can also purchase discounted tickets for family members and friends.

Free 3-day admission to Disneyland theme parks, including Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure parks.
