‘Legally Blonde: The Musical’ comes to the Fisher
Sorority star Elle Woods doesn’t take “no” for an answer. So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone more “serious,” Elle puts down her credit card, hits the books and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. In “Legally Blonde: The Musical,” which makes its Detroit debut Thursday, Elle also proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.The musical, which earned seven 2007 Tony Award nominations, opens Oct. 15 and plays through Nov. 1 at the Fisher Theatre, 3011 W. Grand Blvd., in Detroit. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; also, 1 p.m. Oct. 29; 2 p.m. Saturdays; 1 p.m. Sundays; 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25; there are no evening performances on Oct. 18 and Nov. 1.
