The list featured past and present politicians such as former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and current Mitt Romney vice president pick, Wisconsin State Representative Paul Ryan. I’m very honored, said Torrice. I think it is inspiring for our nations’ leaders, regardless of political affiliation, to be showing a strong interest in physical fitness. Torrice was a Macomb County Commissioner for two terms, from 2007-2011, and her career highlights included securing medicine for the animals at the Macomb County Animal Shelter and making the shelter a No-Kill shelter, as well as supporting the passage of the Veteran Services millage.
