Holly’s World’ Season 2 Episode 8 Recap ‘The Parent Trip’

On “Holly’s World,” this episode was called “The Parent Trip.” It started out with Josh Strickland heading to Charleston, S.C., to meet up with his private investigators. They said that they had found something on his birth parents and needed him to come out there. Angel Porrino went along with him for moral support.

Holly Madison brought her friend Nichole337 out to Las Vegas for an event and makeover. Nichole brought along her dad Roy for the trip. Nichole is a YouTube sensation who has millions of viewers. Holly takes her to Caesars Palace to the spa for a complete makeover. She gets a facial, eyebrow wax, haircut, highlights, manicure, and someone even does her makeup. She looks great when they are done! Holly takes her as her special guest to Planet Hollywood to an event where Holly is making handprints for them to put up in their restaurant. Nicole does a great job working it for the cameras and seems to have a great time.

Back in Charleston, Josh takes Angel to the home where he grew up. She loves it and says it reminds her of a doll house. His parents are here and they show her several pictures of Josh growing up.

The next day, Josh and Angel go to meet with the private investigators. Josh’s adopted parents come along with him. They sit at another table so they are there if he needs them.

Once the meet with the investigators, they find out that thirty years ago Josh’s mom worked at a Piggly Wiggly store. They found someone who used to work with her and were able to help them to find Josh’s grandma. She is still alive and well. The women that remembers Josh’s mom said that when she saw the picture of him he looked like his mother. He has her eyes and mouth.

Last they tell Josh that they were able to locate his birth mother. Her name is Cindy and she is still alive and living in Charleston. They have it all arranged where they can call her up and she will meet him right now. Josh gets very emotional hearing this and starts to cry hard. Luckily Angel is there to hold him and dry his tears. She goes and gets his adopted mom Sara so that he can tell her the news.

At the end of the show, they call Josh’s real mom and she says she is on her way. We see her walk up and Josh lean over to hug her then the show ends. They left us all hanging on until next week.

On next week’s “Holly’s World,” we will see Josh meet his mom. He will also find out that he has three sisters. This should be another emotional episode.
