Jill (Dog)
Husky/Labrador Retriever Mix: An adoptable dog in Clinton Township, MI

Jill has a sad story to tell…she was given up by her first home because they were having a 3rd baby and then she was adopted by a nice couple but 2 years later she is back here with us. The couple felt they needed to give Jill up as they were going thru some health issues. Right now, Jill feels lost and confused and tends to be leary of new people. Once she gets to know you, she is very sweet but is protective over her people. She will need a home that will take the time to train her and let her know that she is not the boss. She definitely has a strong husky personality. For being 3 years old and 45 lbs, she is very strong and very headstrong as well. She will be a great companion to the right home. With all her energy, she will need a fenced yard. If you are interested in meeting Jill or fostering her, she is currently staying at the Animal Activity Center 39319 Garfield Rd in Clinton Township. Her adoption fee is $75.00…. http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/21165303

Peanut(Cat)

Domestic Short Hair Mix: An adoptable cat in Sterling Heights, MI
Medium/Adult/Female

Peanut is a very sweet and social lady who should transition easily into her new home. She is 4 years old with beautiful brown tabby markings. She has a short muzzle with chubby cheeks which is typical of a British Shor thair. Peanut has hazel eyes which color-coordinates with her fur! She weighs 13 pounds and could lose a few to improve her longevity. Her fur is short in length and easy to maintain. She loves to play chase with her toys, which she often follows up with a cat nap. Peanut really enjoys being petted and scratched behind her ears by those around her. She has never lived with other cats. We recommend children 7 and up. She responds when you call her name and she is house trained.
